ZipaTile named CES Innovation Awards Honouree

CES 2017 has announced its Innovation Awards Honourees and among the honoured products is ZipaTile, the smart home control panel from Zipato.

The 8” touch panel has many built in sensors so it can replace a home security system, thermostat, interphone and home automation controller, all in one.

The Android device is well equipped with multi-protocol support for Z-Wave, Zigbee, KNX, Bluetooth and WiFi devices.

Zipato chief executive Sebastian Popovic says the company is deeply honoured to receive recognition from the CES Innovation Awards.

“Zipatile is the result of the tireless work of highly motivated individuals over the last five years,” he says.

“We were intensively communicating with thousands of our existing customers worldwide and tightly cooperating with various partners in order to make this revolutionary device, which can fit into any home, to make it more secure, energy efficient and comfortable for the entire family.”

Zipato’s range including the Zipatile will be displayed at the Las Vegas event in January next year along with other honourees of the award.

The CES judging panel of industrial designers, engineers and members of trade media honour products across 28 categories.

Products are evaluated on their engineering, aesthetic and design qualities, intended use, user value and unique features.
