What? A HOOT (rock speaker)!

OWI_HOOTspeakersFor some time, the outdoor speaker market has been notably lacking in its offering of totems, garden gnomes and stone animal-shaped speakers. So, like a fresh breeze through a dull and dusty courtyard, OWI has released the ‘HOOT’ rock indoor/outdoor speaker.

HOOT speakers are designed and hand-painted in the colours and shape of an owl. Made in the US of glass fibre reinforced concrete that is cured for 25 days, they feature a water-resistant BSK speaker and are available in multi-tone gray or multi-tone brown.

At almost 40cm high and 30cm wide, these UV-resistant, bug-, puppy- and lawnmower-proof speakers can withstand hundreds of kilos of standing weight and are sure to make an impact on any outdoor area.

For the security conscious, they have a built-in security cable attachment ring and carry a five-year warranty.

Best of all, according to OWI, Hoot rock speakers sound just as great as they look! They are available in low-impedance 4Ω max 30W or commercial high-impedance 25V/70V/10W and 70V/25W models.

Designed to distribute audio for background music in outdoor areas like sports bars, patios, gardens, atriums, spas and other applications, the new HOOT speakers are designed to provide an easy way to produce quality audio with ease of installation.
