TCL accelerates smart home strategy

TCL has announced a slew of high-performance products across multiple categories with the aim of turning the humble home into a fully integrated entertainment hub.

The new Mini-LED, QLED and 4K HDR TVs demonstrate the brand’s continuous commitment to advancing Mini-LED Display technology.

Most notably, the C825 4K Mini-LED TV which is faster, features smoother graphics and sharper sound effects. It also adopts a straight down backlight mode which reduce the grain size of traditional LED to 100~200 μm. Combined with full array, ultra-high targeted regional brightness adjustment is realised to bring a better visual experience.

Next up in the range is the C725 4K QLED TV, an interactive entertainment hub. It boasts Dolby Vision ultra-vivid picture, Dolby Atmos immersive audio and Onkyo combine to deliver an AV feast. The C725’s AiPQ Engine switches on the full potential of TCL’s big-screen TVs with real-time optimisation for different entertainment or content genres.

The last in the range is the P725 4K HDR TV, an ultra-vivid display with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos that combines high dynamic range (HDR) with wide colour gamut capabilities. This delivers ultra-vivid picture quality with incredible brightness, contrast, colour and detail.

P725‘s Hands-Free Voice Control 2.0 enables users to switch channels, set reminders and explore streaming services with a simple voice command. P725 also offers enhanced entertainment experience with the latest in Android TV OS. It’s millimetre-thin metallic trim design delivers a broader and wider sense for entertainment.

TCL Australia general manager of sales Jason Carrick says the new AV and home appliances – which include the recently released refrigeration range – further illustrates the company’s ‘AI x IoT’ strategy to build an all-scenario smart display ecosystem.

“TCL continues to expand its smart home offerings with enhanced infrastructure and more comprehensive services, continually building superior products and customer experiences for Australians,” Jason says.
