RTI has continued its legacy of manufacturing high powered, sleek designed, integrator friendly touch panels with the introduction of the KX10.

The KX10 provides a powerful interface with simple control capabilities and automation to AV, environment and security systems.

RTI Americas vice president of sales and marketing Mike Everett says the KX10 provides intuitive control to such systems.

“With a commanding presence and sophisticated style, the 10.1” multi-touch-capacitive LCD features a 1,280×800 WXGA resolution and is programmable to the finest detail,” he says.

“The KX10 is capable of direct control of devices via IR or RS-232 and full two-way control and feedback is possible when the touch panel is part of a complete RTI system.

“Its advanced engineering allows the KX10 to serve not only as a control device but also a high-resolution display that offers a convenient place for viewing HD video and checking security cameras.

“Users can even answer the door via the built-in intercom.”

Mike says the touch panel allows integrators to provide complete, intuitive and custom control over a home’s electronic systems along with a convenient HD video viewing solution via the integrated HDBaseT video input.

“For direct control of devices, the touch panel features built-in RS-232 and IR ports.

“Wireless Ethernet further simplifies installations while wired 10/100 Base-T Ethernet provides the flexibility of Power-over-Ethernet Plus.

“The large, 10.1” interface can be custom-tailored to provide an intuitive control experience that meets the specific needs of any installation using RTI’s Integration Designer software, which increases installation efficiency through drag-and-drop simplicity and powerful two-way drivers for seamless integration with leading third-party electronic systems.”

The KX10 touch panel is available in Australia and NZ through Avation.
