Extron shipping DTP2 T 211 4K/60 HDMI transmitter with audio embedding

Extron has released the DTP2 T 211, a twisted pair HDMI transmitter with advanced audio performance and innovative features.

It gives integrators the ability to distribute HDMI and multi-channel audio, as well as bidirectional RS-232 and IR signals up to 100m over a single shielded CATx cable.

This HDCP 2.3-compliant transmitter accommodates the full 18Gbps data rate of HDMI 2.0b and supports video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 colour sampling.

This next-generation transmitter enables versatile AV designs while delivering the performance, reliability, and economical approach provided by DTP Systems,” Extron vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Casey Hall says.

The DTP2 T 211 transmitter provides reliable, long distance transmission of video, audio and control signals. In addition to enabling extension of higher video data rates, it supports Deep Colour up to 12-bit, CEC pass-through, and embedded HD lossless audio formats.
