Extron Electronics has introduced the DTP T UWP 4K 232 D and the DTP T UWP 4K 332 D two input decorator-style transmitters.

These new DTP products send HDMI, VGA, audio, and control signals up to 230 feet or 330 feet over a shielded CATx cable to a DTP-enabled product. They support video resolutions up to 4K, are HDCP compliant and include independent analog stereo audio connections.

They also have features like analog stereo audio embedding, EDID Minder, auto-switching between inputs, remote power capability and bidirectional RS-232 pass-through for remote AV device control.

The design also allows it to be wall mounted which means input connections can be placed where needed.

“We’re excited to introduce new, high performance 4K versions of these popular wallplate transmitters to enhance our DTP Systems lineup,” says Extron vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Casey Hall.

“They are ideal for supporting a wide variety of video sources, and combine simplified connectivity and long-distance signal transmission for remote devices, all in a wall-mountable form factor.”

The DTP T UWP 4K 232 D and DTP T UWP 4K 332 D also provide seamless switching and transmission of HDMI and VGA signals.

A single external power supply can be connected at either the transmitter or the receiver in point-to-point installations which gives it that added flexibility.

To complement, no local power connection is necessary at the transmitters when connecting with larger DTP-enabled switchers.
