Extron and Sennheiser enhance audio and AV control in modern workspaces

Extron has announced that it is working with Sennheiser to deploy audio solutions for modern workplaces. This will also include additional control system and DSP resources that simplify the integration of Sennheiser Dante microphone arrays with Extron devices.

Using an Extron DMP Plus series audio DSP connected to a Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone, users can create high-quality sound systems that are easy to control and work reliably.

“It is exciting for Extron to combine our industry leading control and audio DSP solutions with Sennheiser’s 75 years of microphone experience,” Extron vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Casey Hall says.

“By simplifying integration between products, our shared customers will benefit from improved workflows.”

Sennheiser head of global business development and commercialisation Wienand Mensendiek echoes the sentiment: “We at Sennheiser always strive to give our customers a unique and, above all, easy-to-use product experience.

“Working with an innovative company like Extron and combining our ceiling microphone TeamConnect Ceiling 2, which is unique in the market, with Extron’s DSP makes exactly that possible.”
