Elite Screens has announced the formation of Elite Screens Hong Kong Ltd.
Simon Tang will serve as its president.
“Since its inception, Elite Screens has become the leading US CE retail screen brand,” says marketing manager Dave Rodgers.
“It is great to see the company expand throughout the Americas, Europe, China, Japan and Australia but we have had big plans for south-east Asia. The goal of this branch will be to both serve the south-east Asian countries with quality product as well as be a point of education promoting buyer and seller knowledge on our dynamic industry.
“South-east Asia has become a growing AV demographic that requires a dedicated office focused specifically on the needs of our customers there. This is exciting for three reasons. First, it allows Elite’s worldwide network of international offices to create an overlapping network of service and available product. Whatever the hot new product in the US or Europe is will also be available through all our branches at once. Likewise, if there is a shortage through one branch, the other can cover it.
“Second, Elite Screens is not just a projection screen manufacturer; it is also a leading voice in the projection technologies market. It reaches out with regular tech tips and user friendly training material to broaden the understanding of buyer and seller alike so that they will know exactly how to maximise the quality of any projected presentation.
“Third, Elite has greatly expanded its product line to accommodate the needs of virtually every environment that projectors are being used today. It offers a wide array of fixed-frame, portable, manual or electronic retractable models in wall, ceiling, or free-standing configurations. The materials include front or rear projection, acoustically transparent, ambient light rejecting or even whiteboard-screen combinations. Screen materials are also compatible with today’s high definition (4K/UHD) projectors and content.”
Heading the operation is Simon Tang, a 20-year industry professional who has spent the bulk of his career in the AV industry and all his time immersed in sales, new business development and effective business synergy. His experience as a successful general manager, as well as sales and managing director positions throughout the US, Europe and Asia have allowed him to develop strong abilities to form lasting business partnerships, identify and fulfill customer needs, and manage a productive operation regardless of the business climate in which he works.
