Denon announces new HEOS AVR

Denon announces new HEOS AVRDenon has announced its new HEOS AVR, the latest addition to the HEOS range of multi-room entertainment products.

‘Surround yourself with sound, not wires’ is the idea behind the HEOS AVR, which doesn’t look like a conventional AV receiver. It combines striking style with the ability to deliver the surround sound experience without cables trailing around the room to the rear channels.

The HEOS AVR offers up to 5.1 channel top-class surround sound combined with HEOS wireless multi-room music streaming and can be used with wireless HEOS speakers for the surround channels to create a cable-free multichannel system. It will drive conventional speakers with its powerful built-in Class D amplification or will work with a mix of both wired and wireless speakers.

It has been designed to fit into any room and is simple to set-up and use thanks to intuitive operation and the cleverly designed HEOS app. This app leads the user through configuring it for stunning surround sound and integrating the HEOS AVR with a whole-house music system.

Its four auto-sensing HDMI inputs are compatible with the latest 4K UltraHD TV, Blu-ray and online video streaming formats, while the ability to learn TV remote commands makes operation of the home cinema totally intuitive. Main AVR functions available from the TV handset and Audio Return channel capability means just one cable is needed between the TV and the HEOS AVR for superb sound and vision.

The HEOS AVR can stream music from the user’s home computer or online services such as Napster, Spotify Connect and Tidal for limitless entertainment.

Extra HEOS speakers in any room can be added to the system at any time with a few taps on the HEOS app, allowing users to play different music in every room or bring the whole house together to play the same tunes. Six Quick Select presets are provided for favourite functions and users can also stream music directly from their phone or tablet via Bluetooth.

Inside the HEOS AVR stylish chassis is in-depth Denon audio engineering, from advanced digital signal processing to the cool-running, energy-efficient Class D amplification, able to deliver a massive 100W per channel to drive any speakers.

Flexible, simple and stylish, as well as great-sounding, the Denon HEOS AVR is distributed in Australia by QualiFi.
