Deezer and Yamaha expand partnership with special holiday offers

Personal music streaming service Deezer has announced it will be expanding its partnership with Yamaha by offering two new holiday promotions, freemium to premium and premium to high fidelity.

Deezer will provide the two offers to customers that purchase Yamaha’s MusicCast systems between now and 28 February 2018 following the official announcement of the partnership at Yamaha’s Dealer Conference in August.

Both offers provide unlimited access to more than 43 million tracks on Deezer Premium and 36 million on Deezer hi-fi, as well as access to personal soundtrack, Flow, and the opportunity to demo either package with Yamaha MusicCast products.

Freemium to premium is for those wanting to upgrade from Deezer’s ad free freemium service to its premium tier, with Deezer offering three months of Premium+ for free.

With premium to high fidelity, Deezer is offering Yamaha customers 50% off Deezer hi-fi for six months.

“We are excited to be rolling out these promotions with Yamaha at a time when people are both spending and saving money. Giving music fans the best possible experience remains at the heart of our business and so that we hope that these offers will give something back to existing customers and incentivise new customers to join our club,” says Deezer Asia chief executive Henrik Karlberg.
