For quite a while now, CEDIA members (both past and present) have been asking a very important question: ‘Who will take the reigns of CEDIA in A/NZ and be tasked with the job of building the organisation into the future?
Well, now there is an answer.
CEDIA has announced that Lauren Tuckwell, who is widely known in the industry as CEDIA’s former APAC operations manager, will be stepping into the role of Regional Development Consultant effective immediately.
Since leaving CEDIA in 2013 after seven-and-a-half years with the association, Lauren has worked as a business development manager at The Star in Sydney and as the operations manager of Exhibitions and Trade Fairs. Most recently, she has served as general manager of Entertaining Environments.
Operational support for the A/NZ region will still be based in Indianapolis, US, but it will be Lauren’s role to reengage with the local market.
The announcement comes just two weeks before the Integrate Expo in Sydney, for which a strong contingent of international CEDIA staff will be present.
