CEDIA 2016: Modulus Media Systems offers all-in-one media management solution

Modulus Media Systems has used the 2016 CEDIA Expo to introduce the M1 Home Theatre Integration System.

Today’s multimedia landscape is increasingly fragmented and confusing, resulting in a lack of convenience, consistency and control of media. Hyper-competitive content providers, closed systems, device conflicts and login hassles make things worse.

Modulus Media Systems has created a stylish unit that consolidates the best features of a DVR, function-rich media centre software, multiple streaming boxes, Blu-ray/DVD disc players and personal media organisers for the whole family.

Smaller, complementary Modulus ‘Mini’ units and mobile apps expand the main hub’s reach into other rooms of the house, or even locations across the country.

The M1 unit features 12TB of media storage space. It also includes an RF-based Ultimate Remote Control with voice search, air mouse, full QWERTY keyboard, infrared learning to control other devices, and backlit face. Modulus further provides 4K/UHD resolution, allows global search of media and online resources, and allows DVR-style recording of live or streaming video inputs.
